How much it is worth a buffalo nickel of 1918 S?

Take the coin to a reputable coin dealer, or two, for appraisal. Value will depend on several factors such as how worn the coin is, the scarcity of the coin, and any major flaws in the coin. Please, please, do not clean the coin as this will reduce the value.

I had one of these nickels at one point, but ended up selling it. Values of coins differ, considering the condition. Mine was in poor condition and sold for $6.00 dollars.

The 1918-s nickel is a much sought after coin. though there are many in circulation, they still sell for $50 or so in good condition, even worn coins will usually sell for $10-$12. A perfect condition uncirculated coin might sell for $400 or more.
