Assuming that the coins are solid pure (.999%) silver then would be about worth about $586.40. If any of the coins are rare then they could be worth more. Have a coin specialist have a look at them to see what they are worth individually.

Silver is measured by the ounce. If you have a pound, that is a lot of $$$$. You can take it in to shop and let them weigh it.

Based on the May of 2010 value of an ounce of silver at 18.86 USD, one pound would be worth approximately 300 dollars if it is true silver.

One Pound of pure silver the value is $18.50. We can sell the coins on eBay or Overstock coin auctions.
