Question by  Kyla (19)

How much do clip-in hair extensions cost?

I'm interested in the price of extensions.

Clip-in hair extensions vary in price depending on the manufacturer of the extensions. Prices vary from twenty dollars on ebay to as high as a hundred dollars. High quality extensions will of course be more expensive.

With clip in extensions, it all depends on the quality of the hair and the length. Artificial pieces are cheaper, but often look synthetic. Human hair pieces can be colored and even permed to match your own hair. For a nice set of 12" extensions, you will pay around 100 dollars.

Clip in extensions can be very cheap, starting around $5 sometimes. But as with most things, usually you get what you pay for. You can find good quality clip ins at beauty supply stores on on the internet. You might want to buy it in store to look them over and make sure they are quality.

It depends on the material they are made out of and who sells them. You can buy them in beauty supply stores, but real hair will cost a lot more than synthetic extensions. It's cheaper to buy them online, but make sure to look at reviews for color-trueness and quality. You can't dye or curl synthetic ones!

Hair extensions are always expensive, even clip on ones. For a decent hair extension, you'll pay about $80 per extension. You'll probably need at least 3 or 4 to put underneath the shorter layers of your hair to make it look real. You can find them cheaper but they'll look fake and aer not of good quality.

The cost of clip-in hair extensions can vary from $1.00 to $1,000.00 depending on if the hair used in the extensions are real hair or synthetic. Real hair used in a clip- in is the best kind to buy because it can withstand heat and won't melt like synthetic hair does.

Answer by  Iamstrong (659)

The prices vary for clip-in hair extensions. Clip-in containing synthetic hair are usually less than $100. Human hair clip-in are more costly at $200 to $400.

If you go to your hair salon to get custom hair extentions you could be pay about $500 and up. If you purchase clipins fom a beauty supply store a good set might sost around $40 a pack. If you find some online retailers they usually start at arounf $100.

Answer by  leann89 (169)

Like everything else it varies. The cheaper you pay the less quality you will receive. Additionally, synthetic hair extensions are less expensive than human hair extensions. However, human hair extensions can be curled, washed, and reused. Most synthetic clip in extensions can't be as versatile as the human extensions.
