There's no set time on when cancer can go away. Many options are included on getting the ductile carcinoma better, such as chemotherapy or radiation.

No exact years for cancer actually. It depends on many things. Whether if you have a lumpectomy to cut off that cancer, or if you're willing to have other treatments like chemo or radiation.

Tumor less than 2 cm is graded as stage 1 cancer if lymph nodes are not affected and there are no metastasis. Stage 1 cancer is diagnosed when the cancer cells begin to invade normal tissue near the ducts in which cancer originates. The time taken for its growth in size depends upon the living conditions, age and environment.

You really need more information to get a proper prognosis for a cancer. Most doctors will use the NPI (Nottingham Prognostic Indicator) to establish the severity of a cancer. This takes into account the size of the cancer, the grade and also if the cancer has spread to any of the axillary lymph nodes.

Carcinomas are cancer, and any kind of cancer is bad. Your best bet is to ask your doctor, and come up with a plan based on his expertise. There are doctors called oncologists who may also be able to help you.
