The World Trade Centers were each hit by a commercial plane apiece so they were hit once. That was enough to make them topple over and to destroy one of the greatest symbols of freedom and capitalism in the world. There was an unsuccessful bombing of them in 1994 as well but that had no impact on this.
September 11,2001 was actually the 2nd attack.On February 26, 1993 a car bomb was set off below the North Tower. Although 6 life's where lost, The apparent objective failed.
