The very first model of the Cayman was released back in 2006. It is a coupe based on the second generation boxster convertible chassis. This model is still in production but may be outsourced to another company in the future.

The Porsche Cayman was in development for two years and the photographs and details were released in may 2005. This first time the model was lauched was in 2006, so the porsche cayman was in production for 4 years

The porsche Cayman has only been in production since 2006. It was derived from the second generation Boxter. It is a mid engined sports car. The 2010 Porsche Cayman is quite powerful. The center of the car will accept a flat six-cylinder engine with lagre capacity, or a flat eight cylinder. It's awesome.

The small and nimble offering that is the Porsche Cayman has been in production since 2005. Still in its first generation it currently offers 3 engines and 3 different transmissions you can get one with just about any setup you could ever want. I would say its has been a great success for Porsche to offer more cars.
