How hard is it to replace a Lincoln LS transmission?

What year is the car and what is your skill level? Generally, the older the car the easier it is to remove a transmission as there are less items to remove and reinstall. Also, as a professional technician I can have one out and on the bench in half an hour. My neighbor would take 3 days.

It is not really hard because it should be a rear wheel drive car. It is about ten bolts holding it on and you have to take the starter off.
