The fastest Nolan ryan ever pitched was recorded at 100.9 miles per hour,which is so fast I would never be able to hit it.it is still to date the fastest pitcher of all time,he did that feat in 1974 versus the detroit tigers,that is a true and amazing accomplishment,and with this era will never be done again.

Nolan Ryan is known as one of the most consistent hard throwing pitchers in baseball and he did it throughout his career even as he got older. He regularly threw fastballs that were above 90 miles per hour, but he also broke the 100 mile per hour mark numerous times in his career.
