It takes about 6 months or so for a dog to reach its full size, but it seems like a few weeks to an owner.

It depends upon the breed, however most dogs reach their full adult height and weight by the time they are one to one and half years old.

Although the rate at which a puppy grows depend mostly on the breed. Most puppies start to grow rapidly usually between four and five weeks. Puppies tend to reach their full adult size in the period of one year with proper development and how the puppy is being cared for throughout the duration of a year.
