A golf cart can usually go 12-14 miles per hour. You can also upgrade your cart to go faster then factory specs.

Speeds depend on whether the cart is gas or electric. Some gas golf carts can reach 45mph but, a good mechanic can install a governor to slow them down.

It will really vary depending on the model and manufacturer. I would imagine that most have trouble going over 30. Some do come with governors so you can set the to speed. Although I don't think a golf cart is something a unsupervised child should be driving.

the maximum speed of golf cart is around 20 MPH and not more than 25 MPH, because it already been put under law by the DMV.
