Pain medication numbs painful emotions as much as body pain. Expect that you will feel bad and get a lot of help, professional help and possibly prescription help.

Depending on the severity of addiction, many times professional help is required to break Oxycontin addictions. It is a very powerful drug, and the withdrawal can sometimes be very difficult.

Oxycontin is one of the most addictive drugs out there. There are many ways to quitting. Cold turkey if you can. If not, I would recommend going to addiction services.

Oxycontin is a VERY addictive drug, and it will be very hard to stop. Like any addiction, there are three ways: quit cold turkey (which is the most difficult), get professional help (i.e. rehab, which is usually the most successful), and finally, try and ween yourself off of the drug gradually.

Oxycontin is a highly addictive narcotic painkiller and not easily overcome. I would definitely recommend a treatment program. Talk to a doctor or friends and family. There is no shame in asking for help. If you choose to do it on your own research the addiction to prepare yourself for the withdrawal and what to do to help yourself.

After months of use, you will most likely have to enter a narcotics oriented drug treatment program in order to break this kind of serious addiction.

Look at your life, look at your family and look at yourself. People would suggest chemotherapy, but i suggest psychotherapy. Getting into religion can also help in breaking this addiction.
