LCD's are quite safe for the eyes compared to their electromagnetic radiating counterparts. Though some viewers have complained of nausea and headache it's very uncommon. Some eye strain may occur.
lcd is in flat model so eyes will effect more because in flat model eyes get more strain ,in lcd we cannot get clear picture to view from sitting sides.
