Work on complementing your natural abilities, if your big work on using your size, if you are quick work on cuts, and if all you have is hands work on separation. You don't have to be great at everything, just find a way to help your team.

Practice your sprints (or anything to do with your speed), practice running your routes, catching the football, upper and lower body strength, hurdles and dodging tacklers as best you can.

Learn how to run exact routes. Even if you do not possess great speed, route running will distinguish yourself as a good wide receiver.

Wide receivers obviously have to be strong at catching the football, but the best receivers can make strong moves to evade defenders. Work on your agility and quickness.
