How do you use a Pringles can as an antenna?

You will need to wrap many windings of copper wire around the can. As much as you can fit, one thousand turns should be enough. Then connect the wires to you output, this is easiest with a point-contact diode (1st type of radio).

An antenna is nothing more than a wire. The metal antennas on car merely have the wire inside of them. You would have to use the Pringles can to hold the wire up. It should work if you stick pins in the pringles can to wrap the wire around on the inside of the can.

Since the switch over to digital, you cannot do this anymore which is kind of sad because it did work for a time.
