Start by finding a location that matches your particular need for light, usually a nice sunny location that is protected from the wind to protect the blooms. Dig a hole and fill with a rose specific planting mix, place rose in the hole and pack around base with earth. Water.

We transplant roses is waiting until the fall, when they go dormant. Then they dont know whats going on and it will not hurt the plant.

You transplant a rose by digging a planting shovel into the pot about 2 inches deep, because that is how long they should be. Then you plant it underground. Thanks!

Well you can't until you let them root carefully. Then if you let them root carefully, you can move them and transplant them in different directions. If you don't want to let them root, just transplant the way you know how to.
