There are many curl relaxers on the market these days. It isn't a good idea to put chemicals on hair that is already dry or damaged. Any source of heat such as a curling iron will straighten hair.

You can go to a salon and have a permanent straightener put on it. all they do is comb a perm through your hair and instead of curling it it makes it straight, although you do have to go get it redone as your hair grows out. You could try it with an home perm but they arent as strong.
