A fake Rolex is easily spotted by the motion of the hands. A real Rolex's hands will move in a smooth motion.

The first give away would be weight. If said watch feels light,And overall cheap.Chances are that is exactly what it is! Next step would be to remove the back to examined the mechanization.Quality watches are made with tiny precision machined gears.If you see nylon? It's bogus!
