How do you report someone with a medical license in Tennessee?

You'll need to call the medical workman's bureau. From there it's a simple 5 minute phone call, you talk to a receptionist, explain your case, and they'll file a complaint which will hold more weight if you use your own name instead of remaining anonymous. Most reports fall on deaf ears i'm afraid.

There are lots of websites where you can rate doctors and warn others not to go to them. Another is to get in touch with the head of the practice.

Complaints as to Tennessee medical licensees may be directed to the Tennessee Department of Health Board of Investigations at (800) 852-2187.

The health department website includes the Medical Board of Examiners and there is a download complaint form. If the doctor has done something illegal, it should also be reported to the police.

You can file a complaint with the state medical licensing board. It is likely that, as a lay person, y our opinion will create too much of a stir.
