This will mostly depend on the source of the lead. If the bathtub itself cracked, or has rusted through, replace it. If the leak is from the drain you'll likely need to replace the trap seal underneath the tub, which can be tricky. Sometimes tub leaks are simply from the faceplate of the tub filler faucet.
