How do you remove linoleum?

This will depend on how well it was installed. If it was a poor installation it may just pull right up. If it was installed well, a razor scrapor may help. But get extra blades they will get dull quick. Often times linoleum is installed over luan plywood, it is sometimes easier times easier to pry up this entire layer.

There is no special technique. A box cutter and hammer are pretty much all you need to peel up the flooring.

This is a messy project to do. Pull up one corner and see what comes up with the linoleum and check if it was glued down. Then start pulling up. If there is glue on the floor, there are many glue removers you can use. After all that work I hope you will have great looking wood floors.
