You need a bowling alley, first of all. At the bowling alley you get shoes and a bowling ball. Bowling balls come in different weights. You select a ball that is a good weight for you. You get a bowling lane. You roll the ball down the lane at the pins. You want to knock as many down as possible.

You throw a ball down the lane. If you goto the left or right in the groove, it is called a gutter ball and no point are given. If you hit any pins, you are given points, hit all 10 and a strike is given.
