Take a knife and cut around the wax that is surrounding the neck of the bottle, making sure to reach the glass. Then carefully pry off the top wax.

There is really no difference in opening a double magnum vs a regular bottle. Any good standard cork remover should do the job. The easiest cork remover is one that has the double wing action.

Opening a double magnum bottle is really no different than a regular size bottle. A standard cork remover should be able to handle any size bottle, whether its petite, magnum or double magnum.

Remove the foil from the top of the bottle, place the corksrew in the top and start turning the handle clock wise
