Usually borrowing a dog for a few days will help. Shooting is the only other sure way to get rid of them. Traps and poison can be bought at any hardware store. If you look online you can find small bottles of coyote urine which if spread around the yard the scent will drive them away. No smell for humans.

Prop up a sturdy box that can hold a wild rabbit with a stick that is thick with no branches. The stick will have a piece of string tied to the bottom of it with a piece of rabbit food tied to the other end. Leave the trap in an area with lots of rabbit tracks.

First you need a wooden box, a thick stick 8 inches long, a piece of string 18 inches long and a carrot. Tie string about 2 inches from bottom of stick. Tie bait to top of stick. Prop up box placing bait under box with no slack. Wait for rabbit.

To trap a rabbit I would use a trap similar to traps that catch squirrels and chipmunks. I would use carrots or lettuce inside of the cage to get the rabbit to come inside. One the rabbit is trapped I would set it free in a local park in your area.
