Carefully cut out your shapes from the felt, sew or glue them to your calendar fabric back, and then embellish the shapes with findings that highlight the month or season.

I don't sew so I would use a good craft glue to keep the pieces together. Get a large piece of felt and other smaller pieces of felt that you can cut letters and numbers out of. I would glue down the days of the week but then use velcro for the numbers.
