My recommendation would be to blend them at the point that resembles the most. If you have a chorus that sounds similar to another part of your other song then that is the perfect place to combine them.

This is called an arrangement or a mashup. First find songs which are in the same key and have similar beat structure. If the song is not in the same key, transpose it so it is in the same key. Then create transition matrial that will link the two songs together.
