Your facial expressions should be matched to your emotion, so you need to learn emotion. Stanislavki's books are foremost in teaching emotion memory and other keys to helping the actor emote to his content. Facial expressions need to vary according to stage or film- they need to be much broader for stage acting to carry to the audience.

It's easy to learn facial expressions. Simply watch some movies or watch tv and copy the expressions that you see.
