You feel like someone is hitting a drum inside your head every on every step you take while walking, you may become light sensitive during this period, and dark places feel cozy at these times. Also, conventional headache medicine does not have effect on migraines.

A migraine is any headache that is worse than normal and lasts for a long period of time, so I would say you have a migraine. Try taking lots of advil, getting a good night's sleep, keeping your caffeine intake at a normal level, and reducing your cheese-eating habits for several days.
