Two cars and a set of jumper cables are needed. Connect the cars' batteries together using the jumper cables. Start the working car and then start the dead car.

Start by moving the jumping car next to the dead car. Make sure they don't touch. Then connect the cable to battery terminals on one car, then to the terminals of other car. Start the running car and wait a few seconds. Then try to start the other car.
