When you buy rhe pump, read any directions provided as your first guide. As you disconnect the hoses from the old pump, use duct tape and number the hoses. As you install the new pump, use the numbered lines as a guide to help you replace the lines in the right places.

To hook up a vacuum pump: 1 Open up the vaccum port and turn off your skimmer port. 2 Reduce the flow in the main drain. 3 If you have more than one skimmer plug off one of them. 4 Always use a pool approve vaccum.

A vacuum pump is something that varies from car to car by make and model widely so make sure that you look at the car model that you are replacing.

The best thing to do is to take the old vacuum pump off and then install the new one just like you took the old one off. It is easy but can take some time.
