Some computer monitors will have an HDMI connection port, which newer XBoxes can use directly. Alternately, you can get an HDMI-DVI converter cable which will allow you to connect your XBox to your monitor. Some monitors will not be able to handle the XBox's resolution, so do your research.

It should be possible. You would need to have a output cable for the Xbox that matches an input on the monitor. However you will probably need another cable and run the audio through a stereo. You can look online to see have cables you can buy for the types of inputs available on you monitor.
