Gold irons should be swung the same as hitting traditional irons. Learn the fundamentals, learn how to make ball first contact and generate a repeatable swing. You don't have to swing hard to hit the ball high and long, you can generate it by swinging fundamentally sound, and practice, lots of practice.

Assuming you are asking how to hit irons properly: Have a proper grip. You can check out special grip at golf store to check if yours is correct. Bend knees slightly. The bottom of the club should be parallel to ground. Take partial practice swing to have proper plane.
