In order to clean a rainwater gutter, you will need a ladder and some work gloves. Climb the ladder and wear the gloves to remove the leaves and other debris that are in the gutter. You want to go along the entire length of the gutter along your roof, and you also want to check for clean downspouts.

When cleaning gutters, I stand on a ladder and use a gas-powered leaf blower to remove leaves and other debris.

The first thing you need is a trough to clean out the large debris with. After you have cleared the large debris, rinse out the remaining small and loose debris with a garden hose. If the debris is slow moving, then clear out the drain pipes with the pressurized hose as well.
