Flush the infected area with an astringent,i.e.alcohol. Then apply an antibacterial ointment to the area i.e. Neosporin Pain Relief cream/ointment. Do this 4 to 6 time a day. Flea bites should dissappear after 3 to 5 days of continous treatment. If bites become infected, seek advice from a doctor.

Flea bites can be very serious to some people. When you scratch a flea bite you are exposing the skin to infection. To get rid of bites, don't scratch them. A dab of antibiotic cream may help.

Getting rid of the fleas is the first step, be sure to do your house, yard and belongings and pets at the same time. Once the fleas aren't biting, the bites will heal.
