Question by  saraphillips (268)

How do you find out the nutrition facts for fruit?

Is it posted in the grocery store?

Answer by  craik (128)

Very few grocery stores post nutritional information about fruits. The easiest way to ascertain nutritional value is to research the Internet using Google or Bing.

Groceries do not have to post nutrition information for raw fruit although the FDA encourages groceries to download the FDA poster and put it up. You can download and print your own FDA poster. Nutrition information for canned, dried and frozen fruit is on the labels.
