The floating card trick is pretty simple. A magician tapes a piece of magic string, which appears to be invisible, to one side of the card and manipulates the string to make the card appear to float.

You use fishing line, and you tie it to your shirt button and you attach the other end to the card. Then you put that card at the bottom.

You do the floating card trick by taping the card to your finger with a piece of tape, and raising the card up and down, to make it look like it is floating in the air.
