How do you determine your wind shield wiper side?

Oh, this one is easy. Wiper blades have a universal attachment, so either "side" will be the same. You only need to worry about he length of the blade. Either measure the blade and buy the same size. Or you can take the blades off in the parking lot, take them inside, and match them up.

Windshield wipers are usually categorized as driver's and passenger's to avoid the confusion of left or right. If they have a left and right designation they are most likely labeled from the position of the driver's seat. When in doubt measure the length of the wiper blade and check against the replacement you are purchasing.

The easiest thing to do is to go to Auto Zone and let them know what kind of car you have and they will get the size for you and then even install them for you for free. You can also look in the book at Wal-Mart and they will tell you the size that fits your car.

I look on the wiper and watch out for the thinest line on one side, because I know that if the line is thin it will work better on the wind shield.

One side of the blades are longer than the other. The shorter side needs to be on the side that comes close to the frame of the wind shield so it does not scratch it.

if your putting on some wipers that you just bought there is no correct side. they can go on either side it doesn't matter
