Since ladder shelves have a small footprint, they are perfect accent pieces behind chairs or in corners. Look for areas where you want to display objects to visitors.

Ladder shelf's look good if they are in a corner of a room, you can angle the shelf in the corner and place some wicker baskets on the shelf, a potted plant, some old books and other trinkets that you have collected, also picture frames look great.

They look nice near a window because it helps to shine light on the objects you have on the shelves. Placing them in the living room is also pretty.

A bare area or a corner is a perfect spot for these ladders. You can put plants, books, figurines etc., on them. If you put real plants on them you need the ladders by light.
