Pick solid colors from the curtains for example if your curtains are black and purple pick furniture in a solid black or purple that matches. You can accent by finding material that has a checkered pattern with the same colors, even if the pattern is not exactly the same. Green foliage is great decoration with any colors or patterns.

Pick an base color for one of the curtains color then use the other color as an accent. Or you can choose a neutral base color and mix and match accent pieces of both colors. Be creative with the colors and find inspiration anywhere.

You should decorate with a folky theme. You will need cows, chickens, stars and any kind of what nots on a shelf. You can put some daiseys in a vase in the middle of a table that has a checkered table cloth. You can dress up your room with more of a country folk theme.

You could paint the walls one of the colors in the checkered patterns of the curtains. You can also see if you can get matching table clothes, too.
