How do you create a table of contents with tab leaders in Microsoft Word?

I need to create a table of contents in word.

The best thing you can do is to know about the different views in word. Usually the normal mode is the default mode, if you select the outline mode you will be able to create the Toc

First format every item you want in your table of contents as a Heading 1 Style. In Word 2007/2010, styles on the home tab, upper right. When everything is marked with the style, switch to the References Tab/Table of Contents group. Click on the down arrow and select your style.

Start after writing the document. Click on Format, tabs. In the tabs dialog, clear all Select 6 or 7 inch in the tab stop position spot. Choose the #2 leader option and press set and click Ok and press the tab key once to allow the leader dot after the topic. Repeat this for every one.

First arrange the table of contents. Then set the tab in ruler line. If then content contain numbers the set the decimal tab also. Then press the tab key and type the matter,repeat the process and complete the matter. Press the tab key pointer going each columns.
