If your computer is new (within the past five or six years) you should get a menu of options when you enter a CD into the CD drive. Usually it will give you a list of programs that can do various things. You can copy a CD into iTunes and it will basically walk you through the process.

A music CD can be copied using an "MP3 ripper" (Built in to Windows Media Player.) Other CD formats require the use of cd imaging tools such as CloneCD.
