To convert kilojoules to calories you have to multiply the number of kilojoules by 0.239. For example 10 kilojoules = 2.39 calories. 1 calorie is almost equal to 4.18 kilojoule so if you want to convert them you can use proportion properties and you have to divide the ammount of kilojoules for 4.18 so there you will have the ammount of calories.
