Suede leather can be cleaned using a suede brush and polish. Smooth leather can be cleaned using different cleaners like WD-40. Water spots wont even come if you use a slightly damped cloth to clean it.

I'm assuming that this is smooth leather and not suede - I use WD40 to clean leather. It even works on most ink stains if you do it quickly.
