How do you check your transmission and oil levels on an Audi A6 Quattro?

In the transmission oil pan, which is somehow clos eto the engine. It is better to confer with a liscensed Audi mechanic though.

To chech the oil level, remove the dipstick and wipe it. Reinsert the dip stick and re-read it. You will get the oil level. You will get the correct oil level if the engine is cool, and so as the oil. To check the transmission, start the car and pull the dipstick for transmission.

to check the oil levels make sure that the engine is off and cool. pull dipstick, read and wipe. Re-insert dipstick and re read it. this will give you an accurate reading. to check the transmission level, start the car and pull the dipstick for the transmission and thats it.

Open the engine compartment and locate the transmission and oil dipsticks. Remove a dipstick and wipe it with a clean rag. Reinsert the dipstick and remove again for fluid level.

you lift up your hood and there is a dip stick for your oil to check it and there is a plastic jug that has the levels for your transmission

Well if neither have dipsticks then you must locate the drain holes. Typically you will just remove this and add fluid if none flows out.

raise car making sure it sits level remove recessed plug from tranny pan (large allen socket) pump tranny fluid in this hole until it overflows replace plug, start car and run thru all gears then repeat above process
