I know my yearly salary.

Your pay stub will normally tell you how much you made that pay period. Multiply this number by two to get your monthly salary. Alternatively, take your annual salary and divide it by 12.

For instance, if you earn \$48,000 annually, then you divide by 12 months in a year for a monthly salary of \$4,000. You can further divide by 4 weeks in a month for a weekly salary of \$1000.

That will give you your monthly pay amount. For example, if you make \$60,000 per year, then you divide that by 12 and end up with a monthly amount of \$5,000.
