there are multiple ways to build a fish tank, the biggest decision is what size, next option is your materials. the easiest way would be to get some plexiglass and to cut the plexiglass in the desired lengths to make sides and a bottom, then bond one to the next, until complete

You will need 5 pieces of glass to form your aquarium. They sealed by 2 layers of a silicone aquarium seal that you can find at any aquarium store.

Well you need four sides and a bottom. Glass works better than plastic. Make sure it's thick. You also need sealant to secure the pieces together.
