First know the local rules of the beach. Gather your bait and a 60-pound test line. Have a pair of water waders so not to get too dirty. And wait for the bite. You can catch anything from a shark to larger fish. More like exotic species which you won't find in a lake.

I"ve caught Red Fish,Specale Trout, and Flounder on the beach on my zebco rod and reel using cockahoe minnows as bait.
