No, it's not a joke. People really do design MySpace layouts just for people who identify as rednecks. Characteristics of such layouts include Confederate flags and redneck jokes. Designing redneck layouts is definitely a niche field, but just like everything on the Internet, there's someone out there who will do it.

Sadly, no this is not a joke missing a punch line. There are many places online that actually make MySpace lay outs just for rednecks, and q quick search returns over 4 million places you can look at to find designs. The real joke is when you click on one and look over the lay outs.
