The FAFSA form for financial aid already takes into account what could reasonably be considered cost of living for students. You can seek subsidiary grants or loans to help.

A student loan can be obtained from a lender such as your bank. Student loans should always be obtained with caution, and always be careful when dealing with interest rates.

Yes, you can use the money you receive from some student loans to pay for your cost of living. The best place to go to for advice is the financial aid department at the university or college you are going to be attending. Remember, this is still debt you have to pay for in the future so be cautious.

banks normally do not provide any separate loans for cost of living. normally , student education loan itself covers their cost of living. so they need not separately avail loan for meeting their day to day requirements. however a student should avail loan only upto their needs as they are repayable with interest after the due period.
