How do parakeets get sick?

They can get sick if left in any area with a draft,ie, near an open or drafty window or door, if the room tempurature is too cold, if you have them in an area that is generally drafty. They also get sick if they don't get the proper nutrition.

Parakeets can get sick from a poor diet. Many parakeets eat nothing but seeds, which is really not good for them because seeds contain too much fat.
