How do I wire up a subwoofer?

You should make sure you have it run through the amplifier first and then just hook up the black and the red and fire it up.

Check the back side of your amplifier you will find all details where to connect which wire goes to which place you will find written subwoofer wire up there.

The subwoofer will have two terminal. This two terminal should connect to the output terminal of your instrument like amplifier, home theater ext and etc.

Well you wire it up like ant other speaker. The positive signal wire connect to the + terminal and the negative signal wire connects to the - terminal.

unless it is a powered sub for home theater. Than rca cable will be used from sub out on amp/receiver to input on powered sub.
